“We are a winery from Dunajovice – from the Upper Dunajovice. Dunavino follows the long-standing agricultural tradition of the former cooperative, and thanks to the size of the vineyards we manage, we are now one of the important grape growers in the region. We cultivate more than 100 hectares of our own vineyards across three vineyard sites – Frédy, Stará hora and Na vinici. We focus on smaller batches of quality wines with special attributes. We intervene in the winemaking process only as much as necessary. Thanks to the control of the entire process – from the vineyard to the bottle – we create wines that faithfully reflect the character of their place of origin. The winery’s annual production is around 20,000 bottles of wine. Dunavino is a wine that carries the character of its terroir, the uniqueness of our vineyards, and the people who create it.”
