WINE Prague’s partner is also Coravin, which will present solutions for restaurants, wine shops, and home use – specifically, how to pour a glass of wine without having to open the entire bottle.

The revolutionary system was developed by American biomedical engineer and wine enthusiast Greg Lambrecht, who drew on his expertise to create a system in which a thin needle passes through the natural cork, allowing wine to be poured without opening the bottle. Once the needle is removed, the natural cork reseals itself, keeping the wine in optimal condition for months or even years.

The system has become widely popular not only among wine lovers but especially in the hospitality industry, where it helps optimize by-the-glass wine programs and objectively improves both the customer experience and the overall revenue of hospitality businesses.
