You will also find Petr Mokruša Winery at WINE PRAGUE. The winery’s philosophy was presented by its owner, Ing. Petr Mokruša: “We are a family winery from the village of Mutěnice. We cultivate 2 hectares of vineyards located in the Vyšicko and Mutěnská hora vineyard sites. Our vineyards are between 2 and 18 years old, and we manage them according to the principles of Integrated Production. We do not use insecticides or acaricides, and the vineyard inter-rows are sown with a species-rich mixture of herbs. Our principal grape varieties are Pinot Gris, Sauvignon and Rhine Riesling. We also grow Sylvaner, Hibernal and Pálava, while this year’s new addition is the Sauvignier Gris variety. The flagship wine of our winery is Pinot Gris, which has achieved numerous successes in wine competitions, especially the Prague Wine Trophy and the National Wine Salon of the Czech Republic. Since 2019, we have been members of the VOC MUTĚNICE association, which brings together winemakers producing wines with guaranteed origin and quality, and we strive to ensure that our wines reflect the place where the grapes are grown.
