WINE PRAGUE 2026 |returns with a new concept to the historic center of Prague
One of the most beautiful historic venues in the capital, precise organization, an efficient concept for exhibitors, various presentation options, and easy accessibility for all visitors – this is how the Wine Prague trade fair returns to Prague this year after a one-year break. It will take place on October 19 at Žofín Palace.
The world of wine presentation and trade has been changing recently. The ever-accelerating pace of life, along with the need to optimize the costs of presentation and acquiring new customers for winemakers, importers, and merchants, requires new and highly efficient solutions. The time of key clients is becoming increasingly valuable as well. It is clear that today the most important thing is to let the wine speak for itself – whether the winemaker’s style, their story, and above all their products capture the interest of a potential client is decided within minutes. Wine Prague 2026 will therefore introduce a simple and cost-effective exhibition layout for exhibitors, enabling successful and highly professional wine presentations. The fair will take place throughout Žofín Palace and, for groups of winemakers, consortia, or large companies, will offer not only the main halls but also other attractive spaces with extensive possibilities to tailor the style of presentation and visitor arrangements. The option to organize guided tastings or masterclasses in dedicated areas will, of course, be available.
The organizers have also developed a management system and wine sample delivery logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly, without any complications potentially arising from the location in Prague’s historic center. Winemakers and other exhibitors will be able to arrive “light,” with everything prepared in advance, and fully focus on presenting their wines.
“After my first trips abroad this year, we are seeing enormous interest from foreign winemakers in the Czech market. The response to the newly introduced concept of the fair has been very positive, and we already have many parties interested in presenting their wines to customers in Prague. At the same time, Wine Prague should clearly play a key role as an important celebration of domestic winemaking and a showcase of the very best produced in the vineyards and cellars of Czech and Moravian winemakers. Where better to proudly present the pinnacle of Czech winemaking than in the very heart of the capital city, directly opposite the National Theatre, in a building closely connected with the history of the Republic,” says Michal Šetka, President of the Wine Prague trade fair, about his vision for presenting Czech winemaking at Wine Prague 2026.
