VIGNE MATTE |Sparkling wines from the UNESCO-listed hills of Prosecco DOCG (Italy)

At the trade fair, you will have the opportunity to enjoy wines from Vigne Matte, an award-winning Italian winery located in the heart of the prestigious hilly Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG region in Veneto. More specifically, the winery is based in the picturesque village of Rolle, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

The Rui family founded the winery with the aim of enhancing the charm of this picturesque village and positioned the winery on the hillside so that it is visible only from the ridge of the hill, from where the slope descends toward the vineyards. The name “Vigne Matte” (“Crazy Vineyards”) is closely linked to the captivating character of this land and to the unique richness of its ancient vineyards, which still thrive among the rocks today. These ancient vines, with their strong and long roots, are able to penetrate deep into the soil and obtain the nutrients they need despite the challenging conditions, producing outstanding grapes even during the driest periods.
