CONSORZIO VALPOLICELLA |AT THE WINE PRAGUE 2019
Founded in 1924, the Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella (Valpolicella Wine Board) is an association of grape growers, winemakers and bottlers of the Valpolicella wine region.
As the Consorzio represents more than the 80% of the producers using "Valpolicella" appellations, it promotes activities to enhance the value of the whole territory.
The Consorzio has very important institutional tasks: it is in charge of promotion, value enhancement, surveillance of the market and protection of the four PDO wines of the region.
The wines produced in this highly renowned area are:- Valpolicella DOC;- Valpolicella Ripasso DOC;- Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG;- Recioto della Valpolicella DOC.
